Very nice, cheap and friendly hotel. When we got to our room it smelled of cigarettes, but when we said about it they where very quickly to change it to another room, with a better view and with neutral smell. They did confuse our breakfast ( which was included with a room, for one night, for 2, 70£ ) but to fix it they gave us extra food. Was lovely, would definitely recommend it, if You don't want to break Your bank and still have a cosy night.

For a low cost hotel it is pretty faultless. Our double room was on the large side with an excellent mattress and pillows. There is shampoo, body gel and conditioner in the shower. The room was spotless and the staff was always pleasant and helpful. Breakfast offers a large choice. Really good.

A great hotel in a decent location. The room was fresh and clean and the air con was very very good! Little details like plenty of plug sockets beside the bed, a hair drier and an iron made it great. The breakfast was good although a little busy at peak times - the make your own waffles is a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful especially moving us to a lower floor to avoid using the lift. Hard to find fault with any aspect of the stay!

Very impressed. I stay at hotels across the country and this is up there with the best. Fantastic selection of food at breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is well situated on the city centre. The only drawback being there is insufficient parking for vehicles exceeding 2metres on height. We had to park 0.6 miles away from the hotel which isn't ideal, but not the hotels fault in fairness.

Lovely location, friendly staff. Beds were excellent, shower powerful. Baths provided. Swimming pool available plus a spa, I had excellent leg massage. Good spread at breakfast; fresh fruit, cereals etc. My colleague's bacon was good but the scrambled egg was poor - microwaved. I would definitely stay here again.

So far so good. Just arrived. Very pleasant and professional staff. Very clean. Nice room. Minimalistic but everything you need. Haven't tried the food yet but very simple menu. 4 or 5 mains. 3 starters. Bar is quite low on choice but adequate. Prices are reasonable. £5 for a bottle of cider. Parking is next door at a NCP. The hotel does give 25% off the parking total by validating your ticket before you depart. As said. So far so good. Breakfast not tried yet.

I stayed here for 2 nights for 238.72 euro which included breakfast. The hotel is in a great location near the city centre roughly 10 minute walk away. The breakfast was nice with plenty of selections. For dinner I ordered potato and leek soup and for main a chicken and pasta dish. The main course was a bit slow arriving to the table but the hotel dealt with my complaint well as I was given a full refund for my chicken and pasta dish. Overall I would recommend

A great hotel with brilliant front of house staff (Sara), offering a efficient and friendly welcome to the hotel. Great advice on nearby options to park, depending on your needs. Breakfast was very well presented and offers a wide range of hot and cold options. The fruit juice was disappointing though. The dinner menu is limited and I would recommend a short walk to the harbour side area for your evening meal. The room servicing during the day was a bit hit and miss! One day the old towels were removed but not replaced, the next day they left behind a random selection of towels (lots of face cloths) and the third day double the towels you could use! This probably needs a look at by the management team - consistent service is my expectation for hotel stays. That all said the front of house were brilliant and sorted the towels straight away. Convenient for the city too.
